Valentine’s day is approaching and I know for a lot of people the question is usually: Vday dinner, in or out? Going out for valentine’s can be such a treat…no cooking, no cleaning and a fun night out on the town! However, having dinner out on valentine’s day can be a hassle… Most restaurants won’t take reservations on Valentine’s day so that usually means waiting around for hours for a table. Also, a lot of restaurants bump up their prices with special Vday menus.

On the other hand, dinning in can mean making a special fancy meal in the comfort of your own home and not having to wait for anyone but yourself. Although, you’ll be cooking and cleaning and you may even have to do other things like look after your kids at the same time.

I haven’t decided what my plans are yet this year. In the past few years, I’ve opted for dining in because I love to cook and don’t necessarily care to wait around for a table on vday or spend a whole lot or freeze in my nice vday dress on the way to the restaurant because parking is scarcego.
