I’m having a lot fun, sharing with all of you the inside scoop on my designs by compiling inspiration items together! Here’s another design that I created after compiling a few images… If I had to come up with the ultimate outfit for a St Patty’s Day party, this would be it! I started out with the green dress photo above but found that I would have wanted to wear something a little more exciting! As you can see on my drawing, I added some ruffles at the bottom of the dress and lowered the neckline a bit. St Patty’s day falls on Thursday this year, enjoy!

In my last post I compiled some images together including one of a flower I took last year. These images helped inspire the wedding invitation shown above, particularly the flower! As you may have noticed, I’m doing a lot more organic designs with painterly/sketchy looks, going back to basics…as I often say, “Modern meets Tradition“!

Happy Mardi-Gras to all of you who celebrate this fun holiday! When I was growing up, we celebrated Mardi-Gras every year! For us, it meant dressing up in a costume, much like Halloween -only this was during the day-, and none of that bead stuff! lol We looked forward to it every year! I don’t really celebrate anymore but I love thinking back about the costumes I used to wear on this day… Have a great day!

pink weddingI’ve had a picture that I’ve been wanting to use for my illustrations for almost a year now! Last year, I took a bike ride through a beautiful trail and soon enough I found myself surrounded with flowers of all walks of life! I took several pictures and promised to myself that I would use them as inspiration one day… Well that day has come! I gathered one of the pictures along with a bunch of other images I found around the internet and decided to put together an inspiration board. Here it is, check back soon, I’ll be sharing the resulting illustration. :)
